Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal will inaugurate 100 mohalla clinics in Delhi today. At present, 201 such clinics are already operational across the state, whereas 30 others are operating in the evenings.

An official in the health department said the government intend to make at least 500 mohalla clinics functional by year-end. He also said that at least 10 persons have donated plots at no cost to start the clinics. The work is also ongoing to open the clinics at three metro stations, five vegetable markets and three interstate bus terminals. The health minister Satyendar Jain reported that all the mohalla clinics are to be covered under CCTV surveillance.
